Traditional Health Worker (THW) Birth Doula Training
Building resilience in our local THW doula workforce!
As part of our 2025-2026 Perinatal Family Support Initiative, we are building a Traditional Health Worker (THW) Birth Doula Training for our local community. Pending approval by the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) to become an OHA-Approved THW Birth Doula Training Organization, we will begin offering our 6-Day In-Person Training (split across two weekends) in the Fall of 2025.
Thanks to support from the Williamette Health Council, we have a special opportunity to offer this training at NO COST for our first four cohorts! We will prioritize our under-resourced communities (BIPOC, Low-Income, Disabled, LGTBQIA2S+, Veteran/Military, and more!) for this scholarship registration. While we await the OHA review process, we are inviting those who may be interested in participating in our training to complete our interest form. We look forward to sharing more updates soon!
